A chart calculated in code, a report written with AI

Your chart is calculated from your birth date, time and place. Planet positions come from Astronomy Engine, an open-source astronomy library; in our tests they match NASA JPL Horizons to within a few hundredths of a degree. Houses use the Placidus system, or whole-sign houses far from the equator. Historical time zones, war time and daylight saving time are handled for your birthplace.

The planetary positions and the rest of the chart calculations are done by our own software from astronomical data, not by AI. The sign and planet readings on the free chart are short texts we wrote ourselves in advance, matched to your placements. No AI is used for them, and your birth date, time and place stay in your browser.

One short paragraph on the free chart, “Your chart in a few lines”, is written with AI. It is written from your sun, moon and rising signs and your chart’s strongest element and modality, and from nothing else: no name and no birth details are sent.

The paid reports are written with AI (Anthropic’s Claude) from the facts our code calculated: your placements, houses and aspects. The AI is never asked to work anything out. Our code then checks every placement the text mentions against your chart, and rejects and rewrites any section that strays into health, pregnancy, death, money, gambling, legal matters or predictions. No human astrologer writes or reviews the reports.
